VIP Membership is a subscription plan that grants players an initial burst and a weekly flow of resources to boost their progression experience.

Some benefits for Members are:
-  First in line to exclusive content before anyone else gets to.
- Gain access to special discounts for things like Planeswalkers and Booster Packs.
- Unlock Members-only custom deck slots.
- Show off their support for the game with Membership Avatars and Titles to decorate your Player Profile.

All benefits described below are active/available during the time the player has an active subscription.

Get the full VIP Membership experience at your fingertips with the Master plan. This Membership plan takes all the benefits of the Pro plan and cranks it up a notch: more resources, more booster packs, and more cards! This way, you can spend more time fine-tuning your decks and strengthening your Planeswalkers and less time having to gather the resources needed.
Like the Pro plan, you’ll also get access to exclusive content before anyone else, a wider pool of booster packs to choose from in the Vault, and special discounts.

The subscription grants you rewards during the time it is active.
All three plans have Instant (delivered when you start or renew the plan) and Weekly Rewards (scheduled according to your plan's start date and sent out every 07 days).

Example 1: VIP Basic Plan from August 4th to August 11th.
- Instant Reward - scheduled for August 4th.
- Weekly Reward - scheduled for August 11th.

- Instant Reward - scheduled for August 4th.
- Weekly One Reward - scheduled for August 11th.

- Weekly Four Reward - scheduled for September 1st.

It is currently limited to promotions on purchases made inside the app with Mana Crystals. The discount is based on the price range of the product, not based on a percentage.

Depending on the selection, these cards can be used as either or both. The player still has to own the card to use them.
Exclusive access to these contents is granted only while the player is subscribed. If the service is canceled, the last valid configuration is reset.

Additional deck slot configurations are granted for each Planeswalker based on the plan contracted (and will be available while the player has an active subscription). The player still has to configure each new deck they want to use.
If the service is canceled, the player will lose access to them. Once the player returns to the same VIP plan, the deck slot will be available again with the deck previously built in that slot.

Free Mana Jewels are granted to purchases above USD $10 inside the app. The cashback will be equivalent to 02 Mana Jewels for each dollar spent on IAP above that value. The price varies from region to region but is based on the dollar value. The total of Mana Jewels granted is presented when the player sees the bundle's content, indicated on the right side in different coloring.

All Subscription plans offer “Guarantee non-duplicate” Boosters.

But what does it mean? It means that boosters with the “Guarantee non-duplicate” tag (or “non-dupe” for short) give new cards if you already don’t own all the cards the booster offers.

 

Suppose the player has all the cards that the non-dupe drops would grant. In that case, the cards will be converted into Mana Orbs (as duplicates do) because the player already owns all cards available in the pack, and there is no “new card” option.

 

You can receive Regular Booster Packs (05 cards) and Card Packs (01 card - Rare, Mythic, or Masterpiece Card Pack). The Packs are received from Instant, Tier, and Weekly Rewards or are available in VIP Special Offers.

Standard Pack – Content available: ORI; DMU; BRO; ONE; MOM; WOE; LCI; MKM; OTJ; BLB; DSK.
VIP Booster – Content available: Newest Set (DSK).
Legacy Pack – Content available: BFZ; OGW; SOI; EMN; KLD; AER; AKH; HOU; XLN; RIX; DOM; M19; GRN; RNA; WAR; M20; ELD; THB; IKO; M21; ZNR; KHM; STX; AFR; MID; VOW; NEO; SNC.

Standard, VIP, and Legacy Packs have the cards Set defined once given and won't update it when new collections are released or when the sets in Standard or Legacy configuration change.
Those packs will only contain cards from the Standard, VIP, or Legacy configuration when the VIP Reward was scheduled to be sent.

Example:

If a VIP Reward with Standard Pack was sent while the 5.2 game version was live, this pack will always contain cards from ORI; ELD; THB; IKO; M21; ZRN; KHM; STX; AFR; MID Sets in its pool and will keep these sets no matter when you open this VIP Reward or Standard Booster. Even if you open the VIP Reward or Booster after the new Set is released, it won’t contain cards from the new Set (because the new Set was released after the VIP Reward was sent).

The players start at VIP Tier 1 when they sign up for Pro or Master Plan.
The only way to increase their VIP tier is by maintaining (automatically renewing) this Membership Plan.
VIP Tiers grant access to certain offers, services, and rewards.
Tier rewards are only awarded once, and it happens when the player reaches that Tier (when the plan renews). The player will receive the Tier reward with the Pro or Master Instant Reward.

Your Tier is unaffected if you change from Master to Pro (or the opposite). It will continue to increase only after 01 month of automatically renewing the same subscription.

Example:
1. A player has VIP Tier 3 and decides to change from Pro to Master Plan. (It's the same process from Master to Pro)
2. The first period in the Master Membership Plan will not increase the Tier.
3. After the first period in the new Membership Plan (Master), if automatically renewed, the Tier will become level 4.
And so on.
* If the plan is downgraded to a Basic Membership Plan, there will be no increase of the VIP tier, ever.

Your account will keep the information of the Tier Level at the time of the cancellation.
After cancellation, there's a month window when the player can re-enable the membership plan without losing the VIP tier. After this first month, the Tier will decrease by one level each month.
Ps.: This information however is not displayed in-game, but maintained on the player's account on the server side.

Example:
A player has VIP Tier 5 and decides to cancel the subscription.
The last active VIP was from May 20th to June 20th.
1. In our system, the Tier will be saved as level 5 for the next month (even if it's canceled).
2. If the player subscribes again until July 20th, the Tier will still be level 5. And will become level 6 only in the next month if automatically renewed.
3. If the player subscribes again after July 20th and before August 20th, the Tier will decrease 1 level. It becomes level 4.
4. If the player subscribes again after August 20th and before September 20th, the Tier will decrease 2 levels, one for each month. It becomes level 3.
And so on. (This is not applied to the Basic Membership Plan)

The VIP Membership Plans are an auto-renewable subscription service. Players should cancel the service to stop future charges. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours before the end of the current period, and identify the renewal cost. The user may manage subscriptions. Auto-renewal can be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase.

Each membership plan lasts as long as contracted and does not end immediately if canceled. The subscription will continue active until the original renewal date.

Example:
A player has a Pro Plan active from July 20th to August 20th and decides to cancel it on August 1st. The cancellation goes through the store and is confirmed—no more charges for the plan.
The Pro Plan will continue active until August 20th (the original renewal date of the plan), and only then the VIP status will go off.

Players can cancel the service through the Magic: Puzzle Quest app by accessing the respective option at the end of their subscription management screen. Another option is through the App Store or Google Play storefront, where they downloaded the app. A banner on the main screen will display the remaining time in the last plan contracted. Players can resume the service without losing benefits and progression as long as they continue the same type of service within 30 days.

If you decide to change plans during the middle of your plan's duration, you won’t be charged at that time and will continue in the old plan until the renewal date. Only then you’ll be charged for the new plan and it should take over.

Example:
A player has a Pro Subscription active from August 14th to September 14th.

In the middle of this plan, on September 4th, the player decides to change to Master Plan. Once the change is done in the Play Store or Apple Store, a confirmation email is sent, and there’s no charge.

The player will continue in the Pro Plan until September 14th (the date of the renewal), and only then the plan change from Pro to Master, and a full month for Master Subscription is charged.

VIP Membership trial is available for players who never subscribed for VIP.
To use the FREE trial of the 07-day Basic Plan the player needs to add their credit card info on the Store (Apple or Google) and subscribe for the Basic Plan. This first Basic Plan period won’t be charged. Players who don't want to be charged for a new period after the trial ends should cancel the service beforehand.
