Card Filter

The Card Filter is a useful tool to help you locate the exact card you're looking for.

When you open your card collection, by default it shows you all the cards you own. In this example, the player owns 2929 cards as you see at the bottom of the screen.

If you click the Filters blue button, the filter options will open.

We'll be breaking down each section of it to explain exactly how it works.

Filters

It’s a button to open and close the filter options. It also shows between parenthesis the number of cards filtered according to the options chosen.

Info Icon

It’s a button to open this FAQ in-game (it's not working now but the team is working to fix it as soon as possible).

Show All Cards

Inside the filter options at the top (marked in red).

At the bottom of the card list (marked in red).

This option allows you to see all the cards available in-game at the moment. By default the checkbox is empty, showing all the cards you own.

If you click the checkbox and a checkmark fills it, all cards available in-game will be shown.

When you visualize the card list, all the cards you don’t own will be greyed out as you see in the image below. The only card marked in red is the card owned by this player.

Card View

This is a visualization option of the card list.

By default, the cards are shown as icons as you see in the image below. Please note that the card view icon at the bottom of the screen shows as a list.

If you want to change the card view to a list, click the card view icon at the bottom of the screen. You can see the new visualization in the image below.

Please note that the card view icon at the bottom of the screen shows as four squares.

Color

This section displays all the colors if you are looking at the card list. If you are in the deck construction area, the available colors are dependent on the Planeswalker you're building a deck for.

For example, if you are building a deck for Nissa, Sage Animist, she’s a green planeswalker, then you'll only be able to see Green and Colorless cards as you see in the image below.

If you click once on top of the color you want, you’ll see a white circle on that color (as you see in the image below). It means you want to include that color on the search and the filter will show all cards with that color (the card can be mono or multi-colored).

For example, if you choose to include white, the filter will show you mono-colored white cards and multi-colored cards that have white. If you choose white and blue, the filter will show you mono-colored white cards, mono-colored blue cards, multi-colored cards that have white, and multi-colored cards that have blue.

If you click twice on top of the color you want, you’ll see a red “X” on that color (as you see in the image below). It means you want to remove that color on the search and the filter will show all cards without that color (the card can be mono or multi-colored).

For example, if you choose to remove white, the filter will remove mono-colored white cards and multi-colored cards that have white from the card list. If you choose white and blue, the filter will remove mono-colored white cards, mono-colored blue cards, multi-colored cards that have white, and multi-colored cards that have blue from the card list.

If you click again (three times), the color is deselected.

You can also combine the search by including a color and removing another.

For example, if you choose to include white and remove blue, the filter will show you mono-colored white cards and multi-colored cards that have white and don’t have blue. White/black/green cards are shown but white/blue/red cards are not shown.

If you want to select only mono-colored blue cards, for example, you select the color blue and remove all the other colors as you see in the image below.

Rarity

This separates all the cards into their individual card rarities. Here are the rarities from left to right: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Mythic, Masterpiece.

If you click once on top of the rarity you want, you’ll see a white circle on that rarity (as you see in the image below). It means you want to include that rarity on the search and the filter will show all cards with that rarity.

If you click again, the rarity is deselected.

Type

Each card has a corresponding type. Use this filter to separate them into the following types: Creature, Spell, and Support (from left to right).

If you click once on top of the type you want, you’ll see a white circle on that type (as you see in the image below). It means you want to include that type on the search and the filter will show all cards with that type.

If you click again, the type is deselected.

Card Set

The Card Set has a scroll now, due to the amount of total sets.

Each card comes from a designated card set. Using this filter will allow you to specify which cards from which expansion you want to be displayed. The sets are sorted starting with the most recent to the older ones.

If you click once on top of the set you want, you’ll see a white circle on that set (as you see in the image below). It means you want to include that set on the search and the filter will show all cards on that set.

If you click again, the set is deselected.

Filters

New options to filter the cards in 04 categories:

  • Standard Only: current sets allowed in Standard.

  • New Only: new cards acquired that have the new tag.

  • Non-Mastered Only: mastered cards (*according to the text, if this option is selected, the filter would show only the non-mastered cards but it’s showing the opposite, the mastered cards. The team is aware of this issue and it will be fixed in an upcoming patch.).

  • Full Art Only: cards with full artwork (purchased during the Planechasing Fblthp event).

Each option has a checkbox.

If you click the checkbox once, it turns green and you select the option (as you see in the image below). It means you want to include that category in the search and the filter will show all cards in that category.

If you click twice, you’ll see a red “X” on the box and you remove the category (as you see in the image below). It means you want to remove that category on the search and the filter will show all cards outside that category.

If you click again (or for the third time), the filter is deselected and the box is empty.

Sorting Order

This allows you to sort all filtered cards based on:

  • Mana Cost.

  • Card Name (by alphabetical order).

  • Power.

  • Toughness.

By default, it’s selected by Mana Cost descending (arrow down), from the highest to the lowest. If you want to reverse the order, click the arrow and it will turn up (as you see in the image below) and the order will be from the lowest to the highest mana cost.

If you would like to select another sorting order, click the empty checkbox and the arrow will be facing down. If you click again, it will be facing up.

Arrow down means:

  • Mana Cost: from the highest to the lowest.

  • Card Name: alphabetical order (from A to Z).

  • Power: from the highest to the lowest.

  • Toughness: from the highest to the lowest.

Arrow up means:

  • Mana Cost: from the lowest to the highest.

  • Card Name: reverse alphabetical order (from Z to A).

  • Power: from the lowest to the highest.

  • Toughness: from the lowest to the highest.

Search Bar

Know part of the title, or the exact title, of the card you're looking for? Just enter it into this search bar (be sure to use the same language as the game’s current one), and it'll bring up all the cards that contain those words. Not only can you search by the card's name, but you can also search by different evergreens or abilities.

For example, searching for the word "life" will bring up cards with the word "life" in their name or their card description, as well as any cards with Lifelink.

Click the search box and the keyboard will open. Then type the word you want and click done. Confirm that the word(s) you typed are now showing inside the search bar.

Apply

Once you've selected all the variables you'd like to filter the cards by, click Apply and all relevant cards will be displayed.

If the Apply button occupies the whole bottom of the filter page (as you see in the image below), it means that you didn’t use any type of filter or only chose to sort the list in another way rather than the default (by Mana Cost from the highest to the lowest).

If you chose one or more options to filter the cards (color, rarity, type, card set, or/and filters), the Apply button occupies half of the bottom of the filter page (as you see in the image below).

Clear Filters

This button will show at the bottom of the filter screen when you choose one or more options to filter the cards. After you click on it, all the filter options you had selected will be removed.
